Disclaimer & Legal Notice
Author: Independent Research. Publisher: Independent.
Legal basis and independence. This website is published in the public interest in the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information under Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights and Article 11 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. It is prepared for informational, research and journalistic purposes. This website is published without charge and without any financial interest in its subject matter. It is non-commercial, receives no funding, carries no advertising, solicits no donations, and serves no competitive purpose in relation to any entity described.
To the extent that the law of England and Wales applies, the publisher relies on the defences of truth (Defamation Act 2013, s.2), honest opinion (s.3) and publication on a matter of public interest (s.4), and on the requirement of serious harm (s.1).
To the extent that Swiss law applies, the publisher relies on the overriding public or private interest justification under Art. 28(2) ZGB, on the defences available under Art. 173(2) StGB, and, where applicable, on the media provisions of Art. 27 and the justifications under Art. 31 of the Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG).
Sources. Content is based on publicly available information, including corporate registry records (Companies House UK, the Swiss Commercial Register/Zefix, the Cyprus Department of Registrar of Companies), Swiss debt-enforcement register extracts, regulatory databases (FCA, FINMA, CySEC), published news articles, the Corinth Group’s own websites, and third-party consumer complaint platforms (Ripoff Report, Diebewertung.de, Verbraucherschutzforum Berlin). It also includes statements made directly to affected parties by individuals who identify themselves as affected parties. Factual claims derived from public records are sourced and cited. Readers are encouraged to verify all claims independently using the registry links provided.
Third-party accounts and republication. Parts of this website reproduce accounts given by individuals who identify themselves as affected parties, complaints published by third parties on consumer complaint platforms and content previously publicly available. Part of the material on this website was originally published elsewhere on websites addressing the same subject matter, including publications that are no longer accessible online. Where material was of continuing public interest, it was extracted for republication here. The publisher has not independently verified every element of every account, does not adopt these accounts as its own assertions of fact, and publishes them so that readers may assess them.
Facts, allegations and opinion. This website distinguishes between (a) facts drawn from public records and documents, (b) untested allegations made by identified third-party complainants, which are attributed to them, and (c) an individual’s opinion, experience and analysis. The allegations are presented alongside material drawn from public records and sources, together with honestly held opinions formed on the basis of such material. Every person named is entitled to the presumption of innocence. Characterisations of the conduct described — including descriptions of that conduct as a scam or fraud — are honestly held opinions, formed on the basis of the facts, historical events and complainant accounts set out on this website. Where complainant testimony is published, it represents the individual’s personal account.
No advice. This website does not constitute legal, financial or investment advice.
Personal data and proportionality. Personal data published is limited to (a) information already in the public domain through corporate registers, regulatory databases, court and tribunal records, the subjects’ own published material and published complaint platforms, and (b) accounts attributed to identified complainants. It is processed for journalistic purposes in the public interest within the meaning of GDPR Article 85 and Article 6(1)(f). The individuals named hold or held director, officer, signatory or publicly advertised leadership positions in entities offering financial services to the public. Publication is proportionate to the public interest in transparency, given the volume and consistency of independent complaints across multiple jurisdictions over more than a decade.
Right of reply. Any named individual or entity is invited to provide corrections, clarifications or responses, which will be published in full and without editorial modification. Substantiated corrections will be incorporated.
Content removal requests. Any person who believes content is inaccurate or unlawful may submit a substantiated request to the contact address below, specifying the content at issue, the legal basis for removal and supporting evidence. All requests will be reviewed in good faith within 30 days.
