The People Behind the Corinth Group

Every key position in the Corinth network is held by a family member or a trusted associate. Martin Walter Model directs the operation and his name appears in no register. His wife signs for every Swiss company, his sons hold the UK vehicles, his daughter sits on the Credit Committee and his sister signs for C-Capital. Alec Theunissen fronts the UK end with his son, and a Chur fiduciary sat on the board and hosts the registered address.

The Directing Mind

Martin Walter Model

Martin Walter Model is a Swiss economist based in Chur. Multiple independent complainants, in accounts running from March 2014 to 2026, identify him as the directing mind behind every iteration of this operation — APAHML, Arcis Consortium, Curatio Capital, the Corinth Group and Three Tuns Investment Holdings. A 2014 complainant described him as “well known within this up-front scam industry”.

He is not a director, officer or Person with Significant Control of any entity in any register searched. The positions are held by his family: his wife Jurate Kairiene (Swiss AGs), his sons Justinas Kairys (UK SPVs) and Marco Model (Centropa PSC), his daughter Angela (Credit Committee) and his sister Rita (C-Capital). Complainants describe Martin as controlling every material decision while remaining invisible in corporate records.

He is not invisible in Corinth's marketing. cgoch.com lists “Martin Walter” — surname removed — as Head of the Group's Credit Management Committee, and Corinth Invest presented him as “Director and advisor of Corinth Invest” with “40+ years” in financial services and as CEO of Bioplatin AG. A director in the brochure; absent from the register.

When clients asked for proof of funding, complainants report that he shouted about “respect” and refused documentation. To a client whose business and family were destroyed, his reported answer was: “That is not my problem.” No known client has ever been funded. No known fee has ever been refunded.

Wife & Sole Signatory — All 6 Swiss AGs

Jurate Kairiene

Jurate Kairiene, a Lithuanian national identified as Martin Model's wife, is the sole signatory — President with individual signature authority — of all six Corinth AGs at Stadtgartenweg 6, Chur. That includes Corinth Management Services AG, the company that invoices clients EUR 80,000 and receives the money at UBS.

Every one of those AGs is a dormant company acquired and renamed between 2018 and 2025. In the UK she co-directed all ten “Rhea” companies incorporated in April 2019 and resigned from every one by July 2019; she remains PSC of three of the SPVs directed by her son Justinas Kairys.

cgoch.com presents her as “President of the Board of the Group Holding Company” who “directs Boards across the USA, UK, Europe, Asia, and Africa”. Complainants consistently identify Martin Model — not Jurate — as the decision-maker. Either way, she is the legal face of the money. In the author's assessment, the concentration of sole signatory authority over every entity through which fees are collected is consistent with a structure designed to obscure beneficial ownership.

UK Front Man & Director

Alec Louw Theunissen

Alec Louw Theunissen, a South African national based in Kent, is identified by complainants as Martin Model's operational front man in the UK: UK directorships, client communications, term-sheet execution — the “Transaction Office” clients deal with once they have paid.

He has been director of 35+ UK companies; more than 30 are dissolved, struck off or in liquidation, across two separate Companies House officer records. He was sole director of Corinth Management Services Ltd — zero accounts in six years, an HMRC winding-up petition and compulsory liquidation in January 2026. Two months later he incorporated Copper Moon Enbay Ltd.

cgoch.com bills him as “Head of Credit – EMEA” with a Master's in Psychology, an MBA and 28 years in investment banking. The record shows a BA in Education from the University of Johannesburg, no financial professional qualification and no FCA approval.

Complainants describe him as supremely incompetent — allegedly by design, at Martin Model's behest — and report that he told clients to “piss off”. Multiple female complainants report unwanted sexual advances during professional dealings, behaviour they say Martin knew of and encouraged. One complainant who lost everything states: “Alec was arguably worse. In my experience, nothing he told us was ever true.”

Sister & Family Signatory — C-Capital

Rita Mlodischewski (née Model)

Rita Mlodischewski (née Model) holds individual signature authority at C-Capital Group AG — formerly CCG Curatio Capital Group AG, the company from which the Corinth network grew — and has been present in the network since at least December 2012. Nine converging indicators, including a shared Bürgerort (Ermatingen), identify her as Martin Model's sister.

Complainant-provided documents show her approving and translating Corinth transaction documents, including, it appears, certified translations for the family's own company within the KYC process — a check that is meant to be independent. She has no identified financial-industry background.

In the author's assessment, placing a family member without financial qualifications on the signature list and in the document-approval chain of a purported investment-fund structure is a significant red flag, and serves the same purpose as every other family appointment: Martin Model's name stays off the paperwork.

Brendton Anthony Theunissen

Brendton Anthony Theunissen is Alec Theunissen's son and the second generation of the Theunissen family in the operation. Multiple complainants independently identify him as a Corinth coordinator with a direct role in client engagement and fee collection, facilitating contact between complainants and Martin Model.

He holds no directorship and appears in no register. His father's Instagram fills the gap: a public post dated 11 December 2020 shows the two of them at the Corinth office in Tunbridge Wells, tagged #corinthinvestments #office #dad #son. Complainants name him in their reports alongside Martin Model, Alec Theunissen and Jurate Kairiene.

Credit Committee — Approves All, Funds None

Angela Danielle Model

Angela Danielle Model is Martin Model's daughter. Complainants report that she relocated from Singapore to Switzerland to join the Corinth Group, and Corinth communications identify her as a member of the Credit Committee — the body the term sheets say approves funding. cgoch.com lists her as Head of Technology and Member of the Credit Committee, with a computer-science background.

Complainants report that no applicant was ever told they had failed the Credit Committee's assessment: every client who paid was approved, and none was ever funded. A committee that approves everyone and funds no one is not a credit function. Staffing it with the directing mind's daughter removes any pretence of independence.

Head of Operations — Owned the UK Tree

Marco Ernst Model

Marco Ernst Model is Martin Model's son. Companies House records him as the sole Person with Significant Control (75%+) of Centropa Investment Holdings Ltd, the UK holding company at the top of the structure above the SPVs later named as “lenders” in clients' contracts — giving the Model family ultimate ownership of the UK tree. Centropa was dissolved in November 2022, one month after CySEC revoked the fund licence.

cgoch.com lists him as “Marco Ernst” — surname removed — Head of Operations. Father directs, mother signs, sister sits on the Credit Committee, son owned the UK structure: every key position is held by a Model.

Accomplice — Board Director & Fiduciary

Matthias Urs Baechler

Matthias Urs Baechler — Chur fiduciary and Delegate of the Board of Montana AG (Montana Treuhand und Revision) — is, in this investigation's assessment, an accomplice to the Corinth operation. He lent it a licensed professional's respectability and the address it operates from.

Corinth's own website lists him as “Director of the Board”, selling his CPA and fiduciary credentials and FINMA-monitored SRO membership to prospective clients. He was a director of the Corinth Capital RAIF in Cyprus, dissolved in January 2023. He was an officer of Corinth Management Services AG — the entity that invoices clients and receives their fees — until 18 April 2023. He is named at Curatio Holding AG. And Montana AG Treuhand operates from Stadtgartenweg 6, Chur: the registered office of every Corinth AG.

He left Corinth Management Services AG only after the CySEC revocation and the fund's dissolution, by which time the structure he had helped present to clients was complete — and it continued to collect fees. A licensed trust expert on the board is precisely what persuades a client that their money is safe.

Justinas Kairys

Justinas Kairys, Jurate Kairiene's son, is the name on the UK special-purpose vehicles — Venda Developments, Ilovo Paper, Kent Mikrogolf, Tswana Productions and Copper Moon Ozcorp. His mother is PSC of three; Three Tuns Capital Group of the other two.

No SPV has published accounts showing trading, employees or any funding advanced. Complainants report that UK SPVs are named as the “lending” party in contracts that never pay out. The Southern African naming reflects the people who run the UK arm.

Jurie Coetzee

Jurie Coetzee is identified in fraud complaint reports as the South African agent who introduced clients in South Africa and Kenya to the Curatio/Corinth network. The archived Curatio Capital Group website listed him as “Regional Director for Africa (Johannesburg)” from approximately 2014 to 2016, after which his profile was removed.

Johannesburg complainants in Ripoff Report #1344693 describe recruitment consistent with his network — local business owners introduced to Swiss “investment” and charged advance fees. Comments on the same report state that South African police and Interpol were involved.
